Project Overview

In 2025, QDTB delivered 45 sets of CE-certified SCB10 cast-resin dry-type transformers to an industrial buyer in Germany, covering the 800–2,500 kVA range.

The order was produced against strict European specification, with each unit engineered for indoor industrial installation where fire safety, low noise and maintenance-free operation are priorities.

Delivered Equipment

All 45 units use SCB10 cast-resin technology with epoxy-encapsulated windings, giving high short-circuit strength and excellent resistance to moisture, dust and aggressive industrial atmospheres.

The 800–2,500 kVA range covers typical factory distribution and industrial power supply applications.

  • 45 × SCB10 cast-resin dry-type transformers
  • 800–2,500 kVA range
  • Epoxy-encapsulated windings for industrial environments
  • Maintenance-free, indoor-ready design

Engineering Highlights

The batch was built to IEC 60076-11 with fire class F insulation, meaning the transformers can operate safely at high winding temperatures while presenting no fire or oil-leak risk indoors.

A low-noise design of ≤ 45 dB was implemented to satisfy the strict acoustic requirements typical of European industrial and commercial sites.

  • Fire class F insulation (IEC 60076-11)
  • ≤ 45 dB low-noise design
  • Low partial discharge for long service life
  • High overload capability for industrial duty

Compliance & Certification

Each unit carries CE certification and full factory routine test reports in accordance with IEC 60076-11, including partial discharge measurement and noise level verification.

The production run followed the ISO 9001 quality management system and was inspected against the agreed European specification before shipment.

Project Outcome

All 45 units were accepted against the European specification, and the successful delivery strengthened QDTB’s position as a qualified dry-type transformer supplier for the German and wider European market.
