UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Overview
Online double-conversion UPS systems continuously regenerate clean AC power with zero transfer time, so connected loads see no interruption during an outage. QDTB units span 600 VA to 30 kVA with pure sine wave output, smart battery charging, LED/LCD display, and RS232/USB communication. The CK series (C1K to C30K) covers office to data center, protecting computers, networking gear, medical devices, industrial control, and security systems.
Available Series

CK Series
The CK series online double-conversion UPS systems provide clean, uninterrupted power supply with zero transfer time for critical loads and data center applications.

EPS Emergency Power Supply Series
EPS (Emergency Power Supply) systems provide automatic AC backup power for fire protection and emergency loads during a mains failure, using inverter technology with a battery bank and automatic transfer. Available in lighting-type (for emergency lighting and evacuation signs) and power-type (for fire pumps, smoke exhaust fans, and elevators) configurations from 1 to 500 kW, single-phase 220V and three-phase 380V output.

Online Double-Conversion vs Line-Interactive vs Standby UPS: How to Choose
| Online Double-Conversion (CK) | Line-Interactive | Standby (Offline) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transfer time | Zero — the load runs from the inverter continuously | A few milliseconds while the inverter takes over | A short break before the inverter starts |
| Power conditioning | Regenerates a clean sine wave and isolates the load from the mains | Corrects voltage through an AVR, but passes the mains waveform | Passes the mains straight through while it is present |
| Efficiency | Lower, because the double conversion runs continuously | Higher, since the inverter only works during an outage | Highest of the three |
| Battery cycling | Battery sits on charge and is exercised only in an outage | Battery is used for voltage correction as well as outages | Battery is used only when the mains fails |
| Load suitability | Servers, medical devices and process control | Networking gear and office IT | Workstations and point-of-sale terminals |
| Cost | Highest per kVA | Middle | Lowest per kVA |
| Typical application | Data centres and hospital equipment | Network closets and retail IT | Home and small office computers |
Where QDTB® UPS Systems Are Specified
An online UPS is specified wherever a break of even a few milliseconds would stop the work: data centres and server rooms, medical equipment, networking and IT racks, industrial control systems and security installations. Because the load always runs from the inverter, the mains is only an energy source and never a direct feed, so sags, spikes and frequency wander stop at the rectifier.
Office and retail installations often take the line-interactive design instead, because the load tolerates a short transfer and the efficiency is better over a working day. The choice between the two is set by the load's tolerance, not by the price difference alone.
Sizing starts from the connected VA plus headroom for growth, and the battery is then chosen for the runtime the site actually needs. Typical UPS batteries carry the load for five to fifteen minutes, which is enough to ride out a transfer or shut the process down in order.
The range spans 600 VA to 30 kVA in the CK series, with 0.5 kVA to 500 kVA covered across the range. Output is a pure sine wave, battery charging is managed by the unit, and RS232/USB communication reports status to the monitoring system.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between online and offline UPS?
An online UPS continuously regenerates power with zero transfer time and full conditioning. An offline (line-interactive) UPS switches to battery on outage with a brief transfer delay.
How do I size a UPS?
Sum the VA of connected loads and add 20-30% headroom. For servers, factor in power factor and startup surge.
How long will the battery last?
Runtime depends on load and battery capacity. Typical UPS batteries provide 5-15 minutes at full load, enough for orderly shutdown.
What capacity and voltage range is available for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)?
QDTB® supplies UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) from 0.5 to 500 kVA.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)?
One unit for standard products. Custom-designed equipment is quoted on specifications — send your parameters or drawings and our sales team will confirm the MOQ for your configuration.
What is the delivery time for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)?
Standard units are delivered in 30-45 days. Custom or large-capacity units follow a project-specific schedule confirmed at quotation. Rush orders can be accommodated for urgent projects.
