Battery Chargers Overview

Intelligent battery chargers restore and maintain lead-acid and lithium batteries using high-frequency switching and three-stage charging (constant current, absorption, and float) to extend service life. QDTB chargers span 10 A to 200 A with 12 V/24 V/36 V/48 V auto-detection, in KD (general), KC (premium), and KB (special) series, with over-voltage, over-temperature, short-circuit, and reverse-polarity protection for automotive, genset, marine, telecom, and UPS use.

FAQ - Battery Chargers

What is 3-stage charging?
It charges at constant current, then holds absorption voltage, then drops to float to maintain charge without overcharging. This maximises battery life.
What is the difference between lead-acid and lithium chargers?
Lithium batteries need a different voltage profile and no float stage. QDTB chargers are configurable for both chemistries.
What charging current should I choose?
As a rule, charge lead-acid at 10-20% of the battery Ah rating. A 100Ah battery typically uses a 10-20A charger.
