⚙How It Works
A liquid-cooled energy storage container packages battery clusters, power distribution, thermal management and fire protection into one factory-built 20-ft high-cube unit. Liquid cooling circulates coolant past the cells to hold them in their optimal temperature band, which is what allows 5 MWh of LiFePO4 to be packed into a standard container while preserving cycle life. A three-level BMS and dual perfluorohexanone-plus-water fire suppression keep the battery safe across a -20 to 50 °C operating range.
▦Structure & Composition
Inside the container, twelve 1P416S battery clusters line the two side walls, each cluster made of four 1P104S packs and one high-voltage box. A 60 kW liquid chiller circulates coolant through the clusters, an air-cooled power-distribution and combiner cabinet feeds the auxiliaries, and a perfluorohexanone plus water fire system protects the whole unit. The container uses a steel–rock-wool–steel sandwich construction for more than one hour of fire resistance and IP54 sealing.
