How It Works

A low-voltage hybrid combines a solar MPPT charger, a bidirectional battery converter and a transfer switch in one 48 V unit. During the day it converts PV to AC for the home while charging the battery; when the grid fails, the transfer switch islandes the critical loads onto the battery in milliseconds. Programmable modes let it maximise self-consumption, shift load to cheap off-peak power or run entirely off-grid with a generator.

Structure & Composition

The HY-LV integrates a 48 V battery port, an MPPT solar input, a grid connection and a generator input around a common DC link and a transformerless AC bridge. A mechanical transfer switch and a fast relay path provide the millisecond backup transition, and the whole system is managed by a single controller with a graphical display and app connectivity.
