How It Works

The high-voltage PCS pairs a 750 V+ battery cluster with the grid, running the bidirectional conversion at high DC voltage to keep current low and efficiency above 98 %. At the 50–500 kW scale the PCS-HV becomes the power-electronics heart of containerised and utility storage, providing fast charge/discharge, grid-forming black-start and full grid-code compliance for frequency and voltage support.

Structure & Composition

The PCS-HV uses a three-level NPC or SiC bridge for lower switching loss at high power, a high-DC input stage with pre-charge and insulation monitoring, an output filter and an integrated cooling system. Redundant auxiliary supplies and a serviceable rack layout support 24/7 operation, and dual communication paths (CAN + Ethernet/Modbus) tie it into the plant SCADA and EMS.
