- Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between CB-class and PC-class ATS?
CB-class uses two circuit breakers as the switching and protection devices, while PC-class uses an integrated switching mechanism rated to withstand short-circuit current on its own. CB-class is generally more cost-effective; PC-class is preferred for very high ratings and critical loads.
Can a CB-class ATS be used for fire pump circuits?
Yes, CB-class ATS is commonly applied to fire pump and life-safety circuits where the circuit breakers provide the required short-circuit protection.
