Cast Resin Dry-Type Transformer
A dry-type transformer with windings encapsulated in epoxy resin for fire safety and moisture resistance indoors.
A cast resin dry-type transformer has windings encapsulated in epoxy resin with quartz flour, providing mechanical strength, moisture resistance, and fire safety (F1 class per IEC 60076-11).
Unlike oil-immersed transformers, uses air insulation—ideal for buildings, hospitals, data centers, chemical plants. E2/C2/F1 classified.
Advantages: zero fire risk, no oil containment, minimal maintenance. Ratings: 30-3,150 kVA up to 36 kV.
QDTB offers cast resin dry-type transformers with Class F and H insulation systems for indoor safety-critical applications.
