HV/LV Bushing
High-voltage and low-voltage insulated conduits for transformer winding connections through the grounded tank.
HV/LV bushings provide insulated pathways for winding connections through the grounded tank wall while maintaining isolation and oil sealing.
HV bushings (>72.5 kV) use capacitance-graded OIP, RIP, or RIS insulation with concentric conducting layers for uniform voltage distribution. LV bushings use simpler solid or oil-filled designs.
Parameters: rated voltage/current, BIL, tan delta. Bushing failure is a leading outage cause.
QDTB supplies premium bushings matched to each transformer's requirements. See selection guide for type recommendations.
