Quick Disconnect Coupling
A separable connector enabling rapid, tool-free disconnection of transformer cables for maintenance and reconfiguration.
Quick disconnect couplings (loadbreak connectors) enable rapid cable disconnection from distribution transformers and ring main units without draining oil or specialized tools. Rated for make/break at full load current.
Types: elbow connectors (IEEE), T-connectors (DIN/EN), bayonet connectors. Standard interfaces: IEEE 386 for North America, EN 50181 for Europe. Voltage ratings: 15/25/36 kV.
